Philip Brey (1966) is professor of philosophy and ethics of technology at the Department of Philosophy at the University of Twente, The Netherlands. He is also president of the International Society for Ethics and Information Technology.  He studies the ethical and social dimensions of new technology, in particular artificial intelligence, robotics, new biomedical technologies, and internet technology.

Philip Brey (1966) is hoogleraar filosofie en ethiek van de technologie aan de afdeling Wijsbegeerte aan de Universiteit Twente, Nederland. Hij is ook voorzitter van de International Society for Ethics and Information Technology. Hij bestudeerde de ethische en sociale dimensies van nieuwe technologie, met name kunstmatige intelligentie, robotica, nieuwe biomedische technologieën en internettechnologie.
