‘Spinning Beach Ball of Death’ is a physical homage to the rainbow coloured mouse cursor that we’ve all come to love and dread. Familiar to Mac users, the Spinning Beach Ball of Death visualises the never ending process of your computer performing. Resulting in a frozen computer that is unable to continue its task and needing to be forcefully shut down. This installation unveils the inner workings of this endless loop.

‘Spinning Beach Ball of Death’ is een fysiek eerbetoon aan de regenboog-gekleurde muiscursor waar we allemaal van gaan houden en vrezen. Bekend bij Mac-gebruikers, visualiseert het Spinning Beach Ball of Death het eindeloze proces van je computerprestaties. Het resultaat is een computer die vastloopt, zijn taak niet kan voortzetten en krachtig moet worden uitgeschakeld. Deze installatie onthult de innerlijke werking van deze eindeloze lus.
